Statement on Covid-19 Respone
Great News! Massage has been approved to reopen in Delaware. It’s been a crazy couple of months and I’ve missed massaging as I’m sure you missed receiving them. I will be reopening with limited hours through the end of the summer. You are able to schedule online but there will be less availability. So if you are an existing client please email, call or text me so I can see if I can fit you in as needed. Also, I wanted to communicate to everyone what steps I am taking to protect against the spread of COVID-19. I’m very excited to reopen, but want to exercise an abundance of caution. Along with state guidance, I am following the AMTA and FSMTB’s recommendations for the massage industry.
These recommendations include myself and clients wearing face coverings. If you have your own please bring them, but I will have some disposable ones available if needed. I have also purchased a HEPA room filter for circulating fresh air. Along with, disinfecting all highly touched surfaces and all other cleaning of linens and such. This will include the bathroom, however, I would like to also recommend, if possible, to use the bathroom before you come to your appointment. If this isn’t possible you are still able to use the bathroom and this will be cleaned thoroughly in between clients, as well. I am already by appointment only and adding extra time to my normal 15 minutes to clean between appointments. However, if you see another client is still here, I’m asking if you could please wait in your car until they leave and I have a few minutes to clean. Upon arrival, I will have hand sanitizer, a thermometer, and a few screening questions.
With all the above in place, I must also caution that there is still a higher risk for anyone 65 and older, as well as, anyone with certain underlying conditions. I still welcome you, but want to make sure everyone is aware there is still a higher risk for these individuals.
I appreciate you bearing with me during this time as I do my best to be as safe as possible. I look forward to seeing everyone soon after what seemed like forever.
